According to the Expresso economic section, domestic work is worth twenty millions euros per year. The article calculates how much a regular family could save if the everyday tasks were made by the by the family members. A very curious and interesting article.

Cover illustration to “Os meus livros” magazine. For this edition the request was to make a variation of the famous painting “le dejeuner” by Édouard Manet, replacing and adding books to the scene.

I’ve changed the characters a bit to make them more modern but decided to keep the original anatomy. Spent a lot of time looking at the original painting and Manet  earned some more of my admiration. Literature magazine, “Os meus livros” means “my books”  in english and like the name suggests all content is about books and literature.

The Green Project Awards goal is to recognize and to give to visibility the companies working on a constant and sustainable form in their activities. “They invest in the future and people”. Jose Manuel Costa, President of the GCI, advances, “This campaign discloses the construction of a better planet. This is really to the reach of all of us”.

For the 25 seconds spot, the Film Brokers materialized the MSTF Partners creative concept when showing as it is simple to construct a new world using tools like Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop. Balance, good environmental practices, social and economic. Symbolized in the graphical elements that move e join in the screen – they reveal the sustainable planet praised by the Green Project Awards.

Political illustration to “Expresso” newspaper. The portuguese agitated political scene. Lots of issues going on this days. The Presidential elections, the doubt about the prime minister and his government surviving the crisis, successors from the Socialist party and the main opposition leaders giving this government a huge headache.

At the end they will all go out for a coffee and decide how to get some more cash from us, taxs-payers.

Illustration to “Expresso” newspaper, economic section. The top five best seller musicians here in Portugal going for merchandising along with music.

Portuguese bands made around €120 millions last year. Marketing and merchandising are important to achieve those numbers and portuguese bands are a good deal to music editors. In my illustration you can see some of best succeeded portuguese musicians like Marisa or Pedro Abrunhosa.

The all set was made to integrate a book with some of the most preeminent individualities deserting about portuguese situation in the world today. LightHouse Project is a public manifesto were the reader can find several approaches to find a reliable path to a already difficult situation this nation remains for long ago. From Government to Culture and education, those chosen persons wrote about the best way to achieve success and pointed the mistakes we made in the recent past.
